Our airtight food containers have won the award for the best company product in the first edition of the Aragon Design and Business Awards of the Government of Aragon. This new distinction to one of our most emblematic products is a special satisfaction because it is awarded among all the Aragonese companies, because it recognises the importance of design to create exclusive products with added value and because the jury has unanimously highlighted its “quality, innovation and aesthetic care”.
The jury highlighted that since 1976 Araven has consolidated its position as a benchmark brand in food safety in the hotel and catering sector through innovation, “designing and marketing an innovative range of products”, and the “work carried out with internal staff”,
A CLOSURE THAT EXTENDS THE LIFE OF FOOD BY 25%.
The award specifically recognises the improvements introduced in 2019, with an innovative closure that extends the shelf life of food by up to 25%, and unique features to ensure food safety and facilitate the work of chefs.
The lid makes it possible to create a vacuum inside by simply pressing from the centre, which reduces food oxidation and prolongs shelf life, while maintaining all organoleptic qualities and reducing wastage. When you want to use it, a flap allows easy opening.
The award also highlights the improvements to optimise stacking, the permanent label and the ColorClip system of identifying colours, which facilitate the rapid classification and management of the containers according to multiple criteria.

The vice-president of Aragon, Arturo Aliaga, congratulated all the winners at the awards ceremony “for the high level demonstrated” and stressed the role of industrial design as “a key instrument for strengthening the competitiveness of Aragonese companies and exports”.
The Aragón Design and Business Awards have been promoted by the Department of Industry of the Government of Aragon – through the Aragonese Centre for Industrial Design (CADI) – together with CEOE Aragón, CEPYME Aragón and the Aragonese Council of Chambers of Commerce. The awards are divided into three categories: Product Companies, Brand Companies and Design Professionals.
