ARAVEN GROUP EXPLAINS ITS COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY AND TRAINING FOR COMPANIES AND CITIZENS

In Araven Group we are committed to sustainable development in all our activity and one of our goals is to continuously improve all aspects of management and, as another aspect, to promote innovation, excellence and circularity in our customers, suppliers and the importance of establishing collaborations and alliances with different segments of society.
Thus, it was a pleasure to share our experiences at the Espacio Rivas Empresas y Ciudad (ASEARCO), a meeting event for citizens, SMEs and self-employed people from the southeast of the Community of Madrid.

This conference, organised by the Business Association of Arganda, Rivas and Region and the City Council of Rivas, where one of our three headquarters is located, is part of the Local Pact for Economic Development and Employment. Its aim was to help participating companies to “broaden their knowledge with the help of experts who will address crucial issues for the present and future of business and society”. Of the four thematic blocks proposed, Araven Group participated in two: sustainability and training, setting out our example.

Our colleague Nuria Lozano, Head of Sustainability at the Madrid headquarters, explained our 360-degree commitment to sustainability, which not only includes the design of products for the Retail and Hospitality sector using recycled and recovered materials, but also promoting the reduction of environmental impact, for example through the use of recycled and recovered materials.

In the block on training, we explained our support for Dual Vocational Training by Tatiana Micó, Iberia Commercial Administration technician, who related her experience in this form of studies, in which a third of the training programme consists of acquiring knowledge, on-site in a company, and its subsequent incorporation into Araven Group.

The invitation to participate in this forum is in addition to the various commitments achieved by Araven Group, such as the award of the “Aragón Circular” Seal by the Government of Aragon, and is a further stimulus to continue to deepen our activity to serve to achieve a better planet.
